BuildIT Share Cart

Share your shopping cart easily via link, email, WhatsApp or Facebook.

Overview

BuildIT Share Cart lets your customers share their current shopping cart with friends, family, or colleagues. They simply choose a sharing method, optionally add a title and personal message, and send the cart link. The recipient sees all products on a clear landing page and can add them to their own cart with one click.

The plugin is ideal for B2B scenarios (sending purchase lists to colleagues), gift recommendations, or collaborative shopping. Automatic cleanup ensures old shared carts don't accumulate in your database.

  • Share via link: Customers copy a cart link to their clipboard
  • Share via email: Opens a pre-filled email with title, message, and link
  • Share via WhatsApp: Sends the cart link directly via WhatsApp (mobile and desktop)
  • Share via Facebook: Shares the cart through the Facebook send dialog (requires Facebook App ID)
  • Recipient landing page: Clear product display with quantities and prices
  • Add all products: Recipients can add all shared products to their cart with one click
  • Automatic cleanup: Scheduled task automatically deletes old shared carts
  • CLI commands: Manual cleanup via command line

Requirements

  • Shopware Version: 6.6 or 6.7
  • PHP Version: 8.2 or higher

Quick Start

  1. Install the plugin from the Shopware Store or via ZIP upload
  2. Activate the plugin in Extensions -> My Extensions
  3. Configure sharing methods in Extensions -> My Extensions -> BuildIT Share Cart -> Configure
  4. Enable at least one sharing method (Link, Email, WhatsApp, or Facebook)

A "Share Cart" button will now appear on the cart page in your storefront.
